An Entrepreneurial Mindset – Living Entrepreneurship, Not Just Studying It

I haven’t just studied entrepreneurship — I’ve lived it.

For nearly ten years, I’ve combined roles as an entrepreneur, Human Factors specialist, and change driver. Over time, I’ve become increasingly convinced: it’s not the resources that matter most — it’s the mindset.

an entrepreneurial mindset

Highlights from my journey:

  • Founded and built an event company from scratch — creating a whole community with a youth center, animals, events, and multiple collaborations. Children, teenagers, and adults worked together to drive the business forward.

  • Helped build a new department from the ground up — with creativity, strategy, and a lot of learning along the way.

  • Worked as a Human Factors Specialist in the maritime industry — where human performance can literally mean the difference between safety and disaster.

  • Trained people in ownership, strength-based development, and genuine motivation — in groups, organizations, and one-on-one.

  • Failed, adjusted, tested again — repeatedly. The learning is embodied.

A Strong Academic and Professional Foundation

I’ve always been a knowledge-seeker, and my academic background reflects that:

  • Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration

  • Master’s in Psychology

  • Starting a postgraduate degree in Digital Strategy in fall

Additionally:

  • ICC Certified Coach

  • ICC Certified Life Coach

  • Diploma in NLP Negotiation Techniques

  • Certification in Psychological Safety & Behavior Design

  • Numerous further courses in leadership, communication, and related fields

This unique combination — people + business + psychology — is the foundation of how I now train entrepreneurial mindset.

What I Saw — and Why I’m Shifting Focus To Entrepreneurial Mindset

Something about today’s organizational structures doesn’t sit right. They’re often built for control, not creativity. For reporting, not ownership. For roles, not real people. Yet we expect engagement, innovation, and speed.

That’s where the gap lies.

When I began integrating entrepreneurship, human factors, and psychological safety, I noticed something: when people get language, tools, and training in entrepreneurial thinking, both initiative and engagement increase — without managers having to push everything.

That’s why I now focus fully on helping companies, teams, and entrepreneurs think — and act — more entrepreneurially.

What We Train

In my workshops and coaching sessions, we work with three key building blocks:

  1. Mindset – How we view problems, opportunities, risk, and responsibility. From waiting to creating.

  2. Meaning & Motivation – What truly drives us? How do we build inner motivation into our daily work?

  3. Courage & Micro-actions – Small steps that lead to real momentum, learning, and results.

Other topics can be woven in depending on your needs: psychological safety, strength-based teams, communication, rapid testing & learning loops.

Offer: On-site Workshops

I come to your workplace and deliver half-day or full-day sessions.

A typical format includes:

  • Short inspirational segments with real-world examples

  • Reflection exercises connected to your team’s reality

  • Group exercises to build mindset, strengths, and collaboration

  • Concrete action points you can implement right away

Everything is tailored to your organization, industry, and goals.

Perfect for boosting team ownership, creativity, and momentum — or kickstarting a cultural shift.

1:1 Coaching (Limited Spots)

Want to dive deeper into your own entrepreneurship, mindset, or internal drive? I offer a limited number of individual coaching spots.

Great fit if you:

  • Are an entrepreneur (or want to become one) and need clarity and courage

  • Feel your potential is untapped — but something’s in the way

  • Want a sparring partner to move from vision to action

Coaching is remote and tailored to your personal goals.

What You Can Expect

When an entrepreneurial mindset takes root, things shift:

  • People start creating instead of waiting

  • Initiative becomes natural — and ideas turn into action

  • Decisions are made faster, energy increases

  • Mistakes are seen as learning, not blame

  • Entrepreneurs and teams find focus, direction, and momentum

This is change you can feel in the everyday.

Is This for You?

If you recognize any of these:

  • You or your team have potential — but keep getting stuck

  • Most energy goes into firefighting

  • Innovation lives in slide decks, not in practice

…then it’s time to train the mindset that makes the difference.
